Our Story

Welcome to the World of Lilian Rose

As a chocolate lover and carb-craver, I always leave room for dessert when dining out. In fact, if I'm with a group of close friends who won't judge me for breaking etiquette, I'll even order dessert first and take the main course to-go!

During the pandemic, I turned to baking and cooking as a way to pass the time and try something new. One day, I made a batch of cookies that were slightly underbaked in the middle and crispy on the outside – and they were SO satisfying that I knew I had to turn my hobby into a business

Unfortunately, starting a business from scratch is risky, and I didn't have the resources or a partner to invest with. But I never gave up on my dream of creating the best cookies in town.

Fast forward to summer 2022: my mother came to visit me in Toronto and ended up staying to help me turn my business idea into a reality. We named our studio after my niece, Lilian Rose, and spent months experimenting with different recipes and ingredients to find the perfect balance of flavors and textures.

Today, at Lilian Rose Baking Studio, we're committed to offering only the best cookies – the ones that our customers will declare are the best they've ever had. It's a lofty goal, but I'm determined to make it happen!
